Our mission is to empower and bring dance to new and current underrepresented dance students (especially those in low-income communities) through unity, culture, family, inclusion, growth mindset, community, and an enjoyable experience. We provide a safe space for training, practice, exploration, self-expression, and growth to dancers who were turned away from collegiate and/or professional dance teams, and for dancers to feel comfortable and confident in their own bodies.
Our 2 dance services are competitive in terms of affordability, diversity, equity and inclusion. Analyzing what other dance crews are available, how much others charge, how other dance studios and dance crews operate, our own mission/culture, and our donors and sponsors, we are able to provide affordable pricing for all students in any socio-economic backgrounds regardless of other identities they may hold.
Because of our DEI initiatives, we don't charge our dancers the "world-wide standard" $150-$700 crew fee. Our dancers only pay $40/month, and we use other forms of service/products (events, community engagement, and this shop) for fundraising(:
